Teacher of the Month

Congratulations to Ginny Poulsen for being named our Teacher of the Month for June! Ginny is a kindergarten teacher at Heritage Elementary. She was presented with the award by Principal Jennifer Abraham (left) and Shawn Livingston with Huntington Learning Center (right).

Congratulations to Paula Cynar, a physical education teacher and middle school athletic director for Thales Academy, for being named our Teacher of the Month for May! She received a plaque and gift basket from Sam Gallagher (left) with Huntington Learning Center and Corey Hutcherson, VP for Community Relations at the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce.

Congratulations to Kara Norris, our Teacher of the Month! Kara teaches Advanced Placement (AP) Environmental Science for all grades at Heritage High School. She was presented with the award from Huntington Learning Center‘s Shawn Livingston (left) and the Wake Forest Chamber’s Corey Hutcherson.

Congratulations to Vesta Surles, a pre-calculus and AP calculus teacher at Wake Forest High School, for being named our Teacher of the Month for March! She was presented with the award from Shawn Livingston (left), owner of Huntington Learning Center, and Wake Forest High School Principal, Patti Hamler (far right).

At a school staff meeting on February 10, Monica Haun (pictured on left), a 7th Grade Social Studies teacher at Wakefield Middle School was honored as the February 2017 Teacher of the Month. She received a plaque and a gift basket from Jessica Millwood, the director of Huntington Learning Center.
