Leadership Wake Forest isn't just a program- it's the launchpad for our area's next generation of leaders. Since 1992, this immersive leadership experience has been the go-to resource for professionals who want to expand their impact, grow their network, and play an active role in shaping the future of our community.
Through curated sessions led by local decision-makers, behind-the-scenes tours, expert panels, and hands-on simulations, participants develop a comprehensive understanding of the people, policies, and systems that drive Wake Forest, and our surrounding areas, forward.Â

Youth Leadership
Youth Leadership Wake Forest is a year-long program for 10th-12th grade students who have demonstrated leadership abilities and have interest in learning about our community. Our mission is for participants to assume leadership roles in our schools and to become more involved in civic, cultural, economic development, and philanthropic organizations. Youth Leadership Wake Forest requires a community reference. The class is limited to 20 students. Tuition for the year is $500 per student. Tuition includes lunch and snacks, program materials, t-shirts, name badges, journals, rental fees, and facilitator time. Applications are due by August 1st, 2026 to be considered for the program. Applicants will be notified by August 15th, 2026 of their acceptance into the program.
All sessions are from 9 am - 1 pm (exception: Graduation 4:30-6:30 pm) and are an approved school field trip, chaperoned by school staff and adults from the Chamber business community. Session topics and dates:
