Find Your Next Favorite Business at Our Expo 2015!
Join us at our 2015 Business & Community Expo presented by CenturyLink on Thursday, October 29, from 3 – 7 pm at Richland Creek Community Church, 3229 Burlington Mills Road, Wake Forest. The Expo is free of charge and open to the public and business community. This annual event features 80 booth displays by local businesses, non-profits and government agencies. Free food samples will be provided at our food booths from PDQ, Simply Crepes, Chick-fil-A, Buffalo Brothers, Real McCoys, Flying Froyo Frozen Yogurt & Smoothies, and Gooey’s American Grill. Many exhibitors will have giveaways and activities at their booth displays.
The Chamber will be giving away three high-value door prize packages. Attendees who complete an Expo Passport during the event may choose to enter one of three themed door prize packages:
- The Kids Expo Package, valued at $800, includes a free birthday party for up to 10 children at Jumpin JoJo’s, 10 free tutoring sessions with Club Z! In-home Tutoring Services, one free hour with Gaming Unplugged, and one free Flexible Flyer Sled donated by B&W Hardware Store. The winner will be announced at 6:00 pm.
- The General Package, valued at $1,000, includes two front-row tickets to a November Duke basketball game, three one-hour Massage Envy spa gift certificates, two 30-minute reflexology sessions with Gentle Touch, one free one-year membership to Anytime Fitness, and one fall-themed flower bouquet from Southern Petals. The winner will be announced at 6:30 pm.
- The Business Package, valued at $2,000, includes free advertising with Advertising in Motion and 27587 magazine, and five hours of IT consulting services by IPLS Technology Solutions. The winner will be announced at 6:30 pm.
The Expo will also feature activities for children, including an indoor inflatable and arts and crafts. For the second year in a row, Gaming Unplugged will have their virtual video game trailer onsite. This 32-foot climate-controlled mobile gaming trailer has five high-definition televisions inside and two outside (weather permitting), the latest in video game consoles and games, stadium seating for up to 28 people who can play simultaneously.
At 4:30 pm, there will be a free breakout session on disaster recovery. IPLS Technology will cover how to protect your data, the major threats that could cause data loss, and industry best practices to protect one of your company’s most valued assets – your data.
The Expo will be held in the current Richland Creek Community Church building. Attendees should enter via the Burlington Mills Road entrances. Parking is available in the front and side parking lots.
