Event Info – 2016 Chamber Business Expo

The Chamber Business Expo, hosted by the Wake Forest and Rolesville chambers of commerce and presented by CenturyLink, will be held Thursday, October 27, from 3 – 7:00 pm at Richland Creek Community Church, 3229 Burlington Mills Road, Wake Forest. The Expo will feature more than 115 booth displays by local businesses, non-profits and government agencies. Admission is free, and business professionals and residents alike are encouraged to attend.

FOOD DRIVE! New this year is a Food Drive to benefit Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry and New Bethel Food Pantry. Visitors to the Expo and exhibitors are encouraged to donate items. EMERGENCY NEEDS: Cereal, oatmeal, tuna, pasta, canned vegetables, canned fruit, soup, diapers, baby wipes. Additional needs include: peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti sauce, canned meats, Chef Boyardee, grits, rice, mac & cheese, dried beans, crackers, canned soup, flour, and sugar. No glass jars please.

DOOR PRIZES! Door prizes have been donated by B & W Hardware Co., AAA Wake Forest, Lowe’s Foods, and Engine Masters Outdoor Power Equipment. Attendees who complete an Expo Passport may enter to win a Traeger Elite 22 wood pellet grill with accessories; a 3 day/2 night Charleston vacation complete with hotel accommodations, a carriage ride, tickets to the South Carolina Aquarium and your choice of an historic walking tour or a ghost tour; a Thanksgiving meal for 8 people; or a Westinghouse 5500 watt generator. Many exhibitors will also have giveaways and door prizes.
