If you would like to help shape tomorrow’s workforce and get an extra pair of hands to help with a project, we are in need of more businesses to provide internships. While all types of businesses are encouraged to offer an internship, top categories needed include law, engineering, physical therapy and other medical fields, marketing and graphic design, IT and programming, sports medicine/trainer, sports marketing and education. Internships can be unpaid or paid.
Info sessions about the program will be held on Tuesday, June 4, and Tuesday, June 18, from 9:00 – 10:30 am at Wake Electric Membership Corp., 100 S. Franklin Street. Register for an info session by emailing wfcareerreadinessacademy@gmail.com.
