Event Info – August 2018 Meeting

On August 20, we’ll be watching a TED Talk then enjoying a riveting discussion. Join us at the Wake Forest Chamber at 11:30 am for the viewing, then stay from 12 – 1:00 pm to discuss. You may also watch the TED Talk at your leisure and then just come for the discussion at noon.

Our featured TED Talk is Daniel Pink’s The Puzzle of Motivation. Career analyst Daniel Pink examines the puzzle of motivation, starting with a fact that social scientists know but most managers don’t. Traditional rewards aren’t always as effective as we think. The TED Talk will provide illuminating stories, and maybe a way forward!
