Girls Compete, Women Empower.
Whenever we meet someone for the first time, how often do we find ourselves making comparisons? Is she wearing something that prompts our internal voice to say – Gee! Why don’t I look that put together? Or, those shoes do not go with that outfit. Comparison leads to judgment. Judgement is a determination about value. While we think it is about the other person’s value, it is actually about our own. That’s a game that no one wins. To begin to remove judgement, we must first raise our self-awareness. Recognizing the habit of comparing is a great first step. The moment we recognize the behavior that does not serve us – we begin to let it go.
